Celebrate National Manufacturing Day at Westmoreland!

Westmoreland County Community College is proud to unveil the new Bob Miner Advanced Manufacturing Lab funded by the Robert Miner Family Foundation.

Chamber members are invited to join us on Friday, October 2 for National Manufacturing Day and the ribbon cutting on the new lab from 2 - 5 p.m. in the Business and Industry Center (BIC) on the Youngwood Campus.

The ribbon cutting is part of the MADE for Tomorrow manufacturing day celebration and will take place at 2:30 p.m.

About the New Lab

The lab is made possible through a generous donation from the Robert Miner Family Foundation. The generous donation enables the college to open this new workforce lab and host training sessions providing students the valuable skills needed by businesses around the region.

Join us for refreshments and hands-on demonstrations of available training.

And while on campus, feel free to tour MADE @ Westmoreland, also located in the BIC building and check out the new pottery center and other additions to the MADE center.
