Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, hosted by Blackburn Center, takes place each April. This walk is Westmoreland County’s opportunity to take a stand against all forms of gender-based violence, including sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. Through the Walk, we raise awareness about these important issues, as well as raise funds to support our work. 

2025 marks our 14^th annual Walk a Mile event and our theme this year is Together We Walk, United We Change. We are thrilled to be coming together to raise our voices – and move our feet – for this vital cause. Register to walk or make a donation at https://www.blackburncenter.org/
