Whether someone is looking for snacks at the bowling lanes, some brews while they play in the sports simulators, upscale catering for their private event, or just somewhere to have a bite to eat, Bites and Brews can deliver. Located within 814 Lanes and Games, we are a fully functional restaurant serving guests throughout the facility. 

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in high stress kitchens and restaurant management. They should have a passion for the culinary arts and experience in different dining establishments. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the restaurant's operational performance and guest experience. You will be part of the leadership team and have a hand in hiring, training, and leading staff, especially in the kitchen, ensuring they reflect the restaurant's high standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in achieving short and long-term goals and KPIs for the restaurant
• Assist with hiring, training, and managing employees and conduct periodic performance reviews
• Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
• Place and receive food and beverage orders 
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
• Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
• Develop and coordinate marketing efforts and community events

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous restaurant management experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent management and leadership skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
