Bites and Brews is located within 814 Lanes and Games and serves up everything with a twist! Whether someone is looking for snacks at the bowling lanes, brews while they play in the sports simulators, upscale catering for their private event, or just somewhere to have a bite to eat, Bites and Brews can deliver. Located within 814 Lanes and Games, we are a fully functional restaurant serving guests throughout the facility. 


We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our Kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the culinary arts and experience in dining establishments. In this role, you will help maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and prepare all food orders promptly along with the others on the kitchen team.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but are not limited to, the following

  • Prepare a variety of food, with diverse methods of preparation, and adhere to specific procedures.
  • Workin a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.
  • Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Follow recipes to ensure high-quality consistent products are delivered to the Guest.
  • Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations as necessary.
  • Break down and clean the station or work area at the end of the shift.
  • Clean and sanitize throughout the shift.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Stands 100% of shift.
  • Work with an open flame.
  • May use slicers or other kitchen machinery.
  • Able to hold items with hands (knives, pans) for extended periods, with up to 15 lbs of weight.
  • Able to communicate with manager and team members to ensure guest satisfaction.

Education/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • ServSafe Certified preferred.

  • The employee must be able to handle high-stress situations on a day-to-day basis.

  • Must be able to stand for 100% of the shift.
  • The employee occasionally is required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
  • Lifts and carries up to 70lbs, up to 20 times per shift; places these items on high shelves and in a walk-in freezer.
