About

Ray of Hope provides a wide range of free programs, support groups, trainings, outreach initiatives, and community events designed to support those impacted by suicide, including loss survivors, attempt survivors, veterans, families, youth, professionals, and community members. Ray of Hope is committed to ensuring that no one faces suicide loss, mental health struggles, or crisis alone.

Each year, Ray of Hope hosts meaningful events that bring the community together in remembrance, healing, education, and prevention, including the Veteran Cornhole Tournament, the Ray of Hope Walk, the Candlelight Vigil, the Annual Conference, and the Celebration of Life event.

In addition to support services, Ray of Hope leads numerous committees and initiatives focused on prevention, outreach, fundraising, veteran support, lethal means safety, scholarships, community education, and public engagement. Volunteers actively participate in community tabling events, educational programming, and prevention efforts throughout Westmoreland County.
